The Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 is an incredibly lightweight carbon-plated race shoe that delivers a fast, responsive, and surprisingly stable ride. With Puma’s NITRO Elite foam and full-length PWRPLATE, this shoe feels snappy and efficient at everything from 5K pace all the way up to the marathon.

The upper is stripped back and breathable with a secure race-day lockdown, while the ride itself feels more controlled and predictable than many of the softer “super shoes” currently on the market.

After taking the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 through a full marathon in tough conditions, I came away seriously impressed with just how versatile and fun this shoe is to run in.
